Membership of MAGICIANS' ASSOCIATION OF HONG KONG
International Brotherhood of Magicians Ring 277 & Society of American Magicians Assembly 264

Associate membership - Any reputable and desirable 18 years of age or over Hong Kong citizen interested in the art of magic.Membership number and card will be issue.They have the right to vote but don't have eligible for election to office and serve on committee. The member can only claim as member of M.A.H.K.and have local benifit. Member can apply for a Active Membership Test after minimum hold the membership for six months and have two active member sponsors. Membership can maximum hold for two years and the committee will arrange Active Membership Test .The membership dues is the same as Active Member.

Active membership - Any reputable and desirable 18 years of age or over Hong Kong citizen interested in the art of magic for two years and have two active member sponsors. They need to pass the Active Membership Test , membership number and card will be issue. Association will proceed their membership application of International Brotherhood of Magicians and Society of American Magicians within three months after Active Membership acceptation. They have the right to vote and be eligible for election to office and serve on the committee. The member can claim as member of M.A.H.K. .,member of I.B.M. Ring 277 and S.A.M. Assembly 264. Beside the local benifit, they also have the international benifit from both I.B.M. and S.A.M. The member dues is the same as Associate Member and also needed to pay annual dues of both I.B.M. and S.A.M.

Life membership - Any Active Member is eligible to “Life Membership”. Life Members are required to pay a one-time payment of Life Membership Dues. Life Members shall be entitled to all rights and benefits of an Active Member but shall be exempt from the payment of annual dues.

Honourary Membership - Conferred on those persons who have materially advanced the Art of Magic. Such membership shall only be conferred at an Annunal General Meeting and then only by unanimous vote of the members at the meeting. Such "Honourary Membership" shall be entitled to all rights and benifits of an "Active Member" but shall be exempt from the payment of local dues and assessments of this society.

Active Membership Test - The Active Membership Applicant will inquired to perform a magic routine in minimum 6 and maximum 10 minutes in one of the monthly meeting. The committee will be the jury and an evaluation notice will be issue within one month.

「附屬會員」 - 任何十八歲或以上人士，行為良好，對魔術有興趣，均有資格申請。附屬會員是指那些行為良好，被本會接納而記錄良好之人士，享有會員號及會員證，擁有投票，但未擁有成為內務委員會委員之權利。附屬會員只可聲稱是香港魔術家協會會員並享有一切本地會員利益。任何持有附屬會籍六個月以上之附屬會員，如符合正式會籍之申請資格，可申請 正式會員測試 。除內務委員會同意延長外，附屬會籍於兩年後結束；該附屬會員須申請成為正式會員，內務委員會將安排 正式會員測試 。會員年費與正式會員相同。

「正式會員」 - 任何十八歲或以上人士，行為良好，對魔術有資歷兩年或以上，均有資格申請，任何正式會籍之申請，須擁有最少兩名正式會員之保證，證明該申請者行為良好，對魔術有資兩年或以上，有資格成為正式會員。申請者亦必需通過 正式會員測試 ，正式會員享有會員號及會員證，協會於其正式會籍被接納後三個月內，協助申請成為國際魔術家協會之正式會員，及美國魔術家協會之分會會員。正式會員擁有投票，及被選舉成為內務委員會委員之權利。正式會員可聲稱是香港魔術家協會會員、國際魔術家協會國際會員、美國魔術家協會海外屬會會員，並享有一切本地及海外兩個協會會員利益。會員年費與附屬會員相同，並需繳付國際魔術家協會、美國魔術家協會會員年費。

「永久會員」 - 任何正式會員均可申請成為「永久會員」。永久會員需繳付一次過永久會員費用，永久會員享有正式會員之所有權利及福利，但豁免繳交本會之年費。

「名譽會員」 - 名譽會員是給予一些對魔術藝術有重大貢獻之人士。名譽會籍須於會員大會中提名及一致通過。該會籍之撤銷，亦須於會員大會中提出及一致通過。名譽會員享有正式會員之所有權利及福利，但可豁免繳交本會之會費及年費。

「正式會員測試」 - 接受正式會員測試人仕需於例會內演出一個不少於六分鐘及不多於十分鐘的魔法項目，內務委員會為測試評委，評審結果通知將於一個月內完成。
